Quality Control Inspector: Med Device – Contract to Hire

$21-24/Hr
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of components, subassemblies, fibers, and cleanroom products
- Review work orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product requirements
- Use precision measurement and inspection equipment to ensure product conformity
- Identify, document, and classify nonconforming products and quality issues
- Accurately record inspection results, measurements, and quality findings
- Monitor quality trends and communicate concerns to Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
- Support and mentor less experienced inspectors on inspection methods and procedures
- Maintain compliance with quality systems, safety standards, ESD protocols, and cleanroom requirements
- Keep inspection and production areas organized and audit-ready
Requirements of the Quality Control Inspector:
- 2+ years of inspection experience in manufacturing, electronics, medical device, quality, or related industries
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently apply quality standards
- Basic computer skills for documentation, data entry, and record management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
