Contract-to-hire, also known as “Try before you hire,” offers candidates and clients an opportunity to ensure an effective match. At the end of the introductory period, the candidate and the client can decide to continue on a contract basis, complete the assignment or bring the candidate on as a direct employee. For a direct hire position, you interview and decide if the client is offering the type of position you want to accept. If so, you accept and become a full-time employee of the client – a win-win situation for everyone.
