CNC Machinist – 1st Shift
An electronic component manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
Shift of the CNC Machinist:
6:30-3pm
Pay Rate of the CNC Machinist:
$26/hr
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components
- Load raw materials, monitor machine performance, and troubleshoot issues
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
- Maintain production records, inspection reports, and manufacturing documentation
- Identify and report quality, process, or equipment concerns
- Perform routine machine maintenance and upkeep
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals
Requirements of the CNC Machinist:
- High School Diploma, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Advanced math skills and machine shop knowledge
- Commitment to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment
