Group Leader – Contract to Hire, Immediate Opening

Shift of the Group Leader:
M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate of the Group Leader:
$30/hr
Responsibilities of the Group Leader:
- Drive daily “Stand Up” meetings for line(s) and monitor daily build schedules.
- Supervise employees to maintain steady workflow and ensure efficiency.
- Train new hires and monitor their progress according to skill set.
- Ensure cleanliness and accuracy of work-in-process in the shipping and receiving department.
- Identify resource gaps and manage strategic countermeasures.
Qualifications of the Group Leader:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume shipping environment.
- Knowledge of workmanship standards and experience with AMLs preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate employees with a background in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Good organizational and computer skills.
