Material Handler – 2nd Shift

The Material Handler position is available in Westford, MA. This role offers a long-term contract with the potential for permanent employment, providing a great opportunity to join a company known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the manufacturing sector.

Shift of the Material Handler:
2nd Shift M-F 3:30am-12:00am

Pay Rate of the Material Handler: 
$20/hr plus 10 % Shift Differential 

Responsibilities of the Material Handler:

  • Responsible for all material handling related to SMT production.
  • Receives material into stockroom area and locates material into desired storage locations.
  • Performs system transactions and routes incoming material to appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Identifies damaged or discrepant material receipts and performs appropriate disposition.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.

Qualifications of the Material Handler:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of directly related stockroom experience.
  • Experience in stockroom processes and inventory control.
  • Experience in using system driven processes to control and move material.
  • Basic computer skills.
