Material Handler – Contract to Hire

Shift of the Material Handler:
1st Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay Rate of the Material Handler:
$19 per hour
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
- Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the handling and storage of inventory.
- Execute distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Participate in material movement with various equipment, including PLTs.
- Assist in updating and improving material data stored in Epicor and Omnify.
- Help ensure clean and safe conditions throughout the area of responsibility.
Qualifications of the Material Handler:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a role responsible for issuing and handling material.
- Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP preferred.
