Stockroom Clerk – Contract to Hire
A precision manufacturing operation in Suwanee, GA is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Stockroom Clerk to keep materials, equipment, and supplies moving accurately from the stockroom to the production floor. In this hands-on role, you’ll receive, store, and issue items, pull and kit materials for production, and label stock with precision.
Pay Rate of the Stockroom Clerk:
$16.00 – $17.00 per hour.
Schedule of the Stockroom Clerk:
1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities of the Stockroom Clerk:
- Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
- Locate and select materials, supplies, tools, equipment, or articles from stock needed for production kits.
- Pack, unpack, and mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling.
- Maintain records of all inventory movement, including kitting, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report unsafe activities to a supervisor or Human Resources.
- Support and follow all ISO standards, including quality, environmental, health, safety, and security systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Stockroom Clerk:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED (required).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in electronics.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to exchange information with coworkers, supervisors, and the public, and to receive work direction.
- Strong math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
