Material Handler – Contract to Hire

An electronic component manufacturing is seeking a dedicated Material Handler in the area of Billerica, MA. This company is known for its commitment to innovation and quality in the manufacturing sector, making it a great place to advance your career.

Shift of the Material Handler:
M-F 1st shift 6am-2:30pm

Pay Rate of the Material Handler:
$22-$24/hr 

Responsibilities of the Material Handler:

  • Deliver material to appropriate storage and point-of-use locations to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Set-up and organize inventory and storage locations within the facility.
  • Support kitting and material breakdown activities.
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping expectations are followed.
  • Pick/Kit materials to be used by assemblers on the production floor. Process picklists in ERP system Dynamics365.

Qualifications of the Material Handler:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Min 2 years of experience handling materials in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Pallet jack, ride on pallet jack, or forklift experience/certification preferred (OSHA certification preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
