Staff Accountant – Contract, Hybrid Opportunity
Leading software company is looking for a Staff Accountant in Weston, FL, to join our Revenue Accounting team on a contract basis. This company is known for its commitment to excellence in financial reporting and compliance, making it a great place to enhance your accounting skills.
Shift of the Staff Accountant:
Hybrid Twice from office. Monday & Tuesday in-office days. (Wed, Thu, Fri from office)
Pay Rate/Salary of the Staff Accountant:
$35/hr
Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:
- Assist with SOX compliance initiatives, including process documentation and control evidence gathering.
- Assist with technical accounting research and documentation related to ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Analyze revenue-related data and support special projects related to system, process, and business changes.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting or audit experience.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
