Polishing Technician – Contract to Hire
A precision manufacturing operation is seeking a dependable, detail-driven Manufacturing Operator to support production processes that demand a steady hand and a sharp eye. In this hands-on role, you’ll fill diamond paste tubes, prepare job travelers, and take precise measurements using micrometers and microscopes.
Pay Rate of the Manufacturing Operator:
$23.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential when working the split shift.
Schedule of the Manufacturing Operator:
Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with training on 1st shift.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operator:
- Fill diamond paste tubes according to the established process.
- Cut card stock and prepare job travelers.
- Read travelers and complete tasks as listed.
- Take table measurements and measure the thickness of parts using micrometers and microscopes.
- Maintain a clean work area and keep equipment in orderly condition.
- Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Machine operation or small piece assembly experience.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
- Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
- Previous experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment.
