Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Review, code, and enter invoices accurately.
- Verify compliance of paperwork received from subcontractors before payment release.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors for timely payment processing.
- Prepare checks and process remittance information for vendors efficiently.
- Reconcile and research discrepancies on vendor statements.
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Textura (Oracle) and Vista by Viewpoint preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
