Quality Control Technician – 1st Shift

Are you an experienced Quality Control professional with a background in electronics manufacturing and PCB assembly? An electronic component manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician in Duluth, GA to support incoming, in-process, and final inspections while helping ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Training will be provided on company-specific processes and procedures.

Shift of the Quality Control Technician:
1st shift 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate of the Quality Control Technician:
$19-$24/hr

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Review drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and product requirements to perform accurate inspections.
  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Verify incoming materials meet specifications and identify non-conforming products or components.
  • Communicate quality concerns and required adjustments to production personnel and supervisors.
  • Document inspection results, non-conformances, rework activities, and quality metrics.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and enter data into quality management systems and databases.
  • Assist in tracking supplier performance and material quality trends.
  • Ensure inspection and measurement equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with established quality procedures.
  • Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to management as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of Quality Control, Quality Inspection, or related experience.
  • 3+ years of PCB assembly and electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
