EM Assembler Openings – Contract to Hire
The EM Assembler position is available in West Boylston, MA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects, including the assembly of robotic machines designed to enhance warehouse operations.
Shift of the EM Assembler:
1st Shift: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate/Salary of the EM Assembler:
$20 to $28 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities of the EM Assembler:
- Work from written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations using a bill of materials, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Assemble and fabricate assemblies using company-supplied hand and power tools.
- Assemble electrical panels and electrical boxes.
- Assemble products per assembly process specifications.
- Collaborate with teams ranging from 2-8 people.
Qualifications of the EM Assembler:
- High School diploma or GED with experience; technical school preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, focus, and commitment to quality standards.
- Good communication skills (English), both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hand/Eye coordination with some mechanical dexterity; exposure to hand tools and power tools is beneficial.
- Familiarity with work instructions and blueprints is a plus.
