Electronics Assembler – Entry-Level, Contract to Hire
A manufacturer in Taunton, MA, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to join a close-knit assembly production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare, solder, pot, and assemble small components for products — playing a key part in delivering quality on time. Schedule of the Electronics Assembler:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Pay Rate of the Electronics Assembler:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Once permanent, you’ll enjoy a 5% annual raise.
Responsibilities of the Electronics Assembler:
- Use part drawings to produce small assemblies for production.
- Clean, sand, and prep parts for assembly.
- Solder small wires and parts in line with assembly drawings.
- Assemble, pot, and seal assemblies according to drawings.
- Label and test assemblies following established procedures.
- Utilize manufacturing software to track the progress and completion of assigned orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all parts and completed assemblies.
- Support teammates as needed, since duties may shift to keep the team on track.
Qualifications of the Electronics Assembler:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of soldering experience.
- Experience assembling small parts.
- Familiarity with hand tools, plus the ability to read and take accurate measurements using a tape measure.
- Ability to read and follow part drawings and work instructions.
- Ability to see and differentiate between wire coloring and labeling.
- Ability to safely use sharp cutting tools and soldering irons.
- Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs.
- A team-first mindset with thoroughness and strong attention to detail.
