Assembler II – Hiring Now

A growing electronics manufacturer in Suwanee, GA is seeking a skilled Assembler II to build precision components and sub-assemblies that meet exacting standards. In this hands-on role, you'll solder, assemble, and rework units with care — playing a key part in delivering quality products every shift.

Pay Rate of the Assembler II:
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule of the Assembler II:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (1st shift).

Responsibilities of the Assembler II:

• Solder basic electronic thru-hole components such as capacitors and resistors.
• Assemble thru-hole and surface mount assemblies.
• Build basic mechanical assemblies.
• Prep parts to customer specifications.
• Understand and execute circuit-cam and work instructions.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Qualifications of the Assembler II:

• 1–2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lead and lead-free solder applications.
• IPC-610 knowledge (Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3).
• Understanding of ESD practices.
• Fine motor skills and dexterity for working with small parts and subassemblies using both hands.
• Ability to solder components using a magnifying glass and identify thru-hole component values and polarities.
• J-STD-001 certification, or the ability to complete training and maintain certification in thru-hole assembly.
• Basic math skills and intermediate computer knowledge, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work using a microscope for extended periods.
• Clean room experience is a plus.
