Supplier Quality Engineer – Contract

The Supplier Quality Engineer II position is available in the area of Merrimack, NH. This role is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement by managing supplier quality performance. 

Shift of the Supplier Quality Engineer II: 
Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate of the Supplier Quality Engineer II: 
$57/HR

Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer II:

  • Conduct Source Inspections, Incoming Receiving Inspections, and Material Surveys to ensure compliance with quality and technical requirements.
  • Review Supplier First Article Inspections (FAI’s) as required.
  • Support Engineering and Supply Chain Teams in selecting suppliers based on commodity and risk.
  • Assign, monitor, and close Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR’s) to address root causes.
  • Initiate and participate in Continuous Improvement activities to enhance Supplier performance.

Qualifications of the Supplier Quality Engineer II:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent technical degree).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality or related field.
  • Preferred certifications: ASQ-CQE, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read Blueprints and Engineering Drawings.
