Wiring Technician – Control Panels
An electronic component manufacturing is seeking a Skilled Control Panel Wiring Technician, to complete the wiring and assembly of Industrial control panel cabinets in Buford, GA
Pay Rate of the Wiring Technician:
$19-21/hr
Shift of the Wiring Technician:
Monday-Thursday 6:30AM-5PM
Responsibilities of the Wiring Technician:
- Read design specifications, electrical/mechanical technical drawings and bill of materials
- Wiring, Assembly, and Testing of Industrial Control Panels is a must
- • Familiarity and the ability to wire components such as relays, terminal blocks, pushbuttons, PLCs and other electrical components.
- Using small hand tools, measuring tools and wire prepping tools.
- Reviewing, laying out and wiring control panels from wire diagrams, customer feedback and general notes.
- Reviewing work tickets, drawings and BOM’ s to ensure accuracy.
- Working with other techs and the shop manager to identify and correct wiring problems early in the build process.
- Experience with PLCs and VFD
Requirements of the Wiring Technician:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant Industrial Control Panel experience
