Assembler – 1st Shift, Contract to Hire
A plastics manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Assembler for a 1st shift position in the Framingham, MA area. Join a manufacturing team that values individual initiative and has implemented Lean Manufacturing methodologies to foster continuous improvement.
Pay Rate of the Assembler:
$20-$23/hr
Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Use hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly functions.
- Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in a clean and safe condition.
- Measure accurately using a tape measure.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications of the Assembler:
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Experience operating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
