Manufacturing Quality Inspector – Contract
An electronic component manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector in the Rochester, NY area. This role is crucial in ensuring product quality and compliance, partnering with various departments to uphold high standards. Shift of the Manufacturing Quality Inspector:
7-3:30PM M-F
Pay Rate of the Manufacturing Quality Inspector:
$20-22.50/hr
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Quality Inspector:
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming parts, materials, and components.
- Coordinate the collection and disposition of purged materials.
- Assist in determining methods and procedures for inspection.
- Work from written procedures, drawings, and specifications.
- Generate Engineering Change Requests for drawing issues noted during inspections.
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Quality Inspector:
- Completion of high school or vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience in quality inspection.
- IPC 610 and 620 certifications preferred.
- Experience with inspection of sheet metal and/or cables & wire assembly preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Agile, MS Office, and Copilot preferred.
