Material Handler – Contract To Hire
A growing life sciences manufacturing company in Billerica, MA is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse / Material Handler to keep materials moving and production humming.
Pay Rate of the Warehouse / Material Handler:
$25.00 per hour.
Schedule of the Warehouse / Material Handler:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse / Material Handler:
- Move materials throughout the facility using carts and manual handling.
- Transport products between departments to support production and shipping operations.
- Load, unload, and organize materials in designated areas.
- Perform basic inventory transactions in an ERP system.
- Prepare shipments and assist with labeling and packaging.
- Use shipping systems, such as FedEx, to process outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications of the Warehouse / Material Handler:
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or shipping experience.
- Basic computer skills, with experience using ERP systems or shipping software.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly, with frequent walking, standing, and pushing carts throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Experience with SyteLine ERP.
- Experience with FedEx shipping systems.
