Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift, Contract To Hire

Shift of the Mechanical Assembler:
1st shift hours are 5:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate of the Mechanical Assembler:
$23.00/hr.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:
- Assemble mechanical components and medium-sized assemblies following detailed work instructions and diagrams in English.
- Use hand tools, including torque wrenches and screwdrivers, to complete tasks with precision.
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure proper fit, function, and compliance with specifications.
- Report assembly issues, defective parts, or process deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, or a related field.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow English work instructions and assembly documentation.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical hand tools such as torque wrenches and screwdrivers.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Electrical experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills of the Mechanical Assembler:
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics.
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
