Shift of the CNC Machinist:
2nd Shift: 3:20 PM – 12:10 AM, Monday – Friday
Pay Rate/Salary of the CNC Machinist:
$26/hr + 10% shift differential
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
- Ensure correct machine operation by changing inserts, tool holders, and skimming jaws.
- Conduct random inspections of parts to ensure conformity to specifications, including visual inspections using a microscope.
- Deburr and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
- Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
- Resolve and communicate problems/issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications of the CNC Machinist:
- High School or Trade School diploma required.
- 1+ years of CNC machine operator experience.
- Ability to monitor tool wear and make dimensional adjustments (offsets).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
