CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift – Hiring Now

An electronic component manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift position in Lawrence, MA. This company is known for its commitment to precision and quality in manufacturing, making it a leader in the industry.

Shift of the CNC Machinist:
2nd Shift: 3:20 PM – 12:10 AM, Monday – Friday

Pay Rate/Salary of the CNC Machinist:
$26/hr + 10% shift differential

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:

  • Ensure correct machine operation by changing inserts, tool holders, and skimming jaws.
  • Conduct random inspections of parts to ensure conformity to specifications, including visual inspections using a microscope.
  • Deburr and clean parts to maintain quality standards.
  • Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
  • Resolve and communicate problems/issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications of the CNC Machinist:

  • High School or Trade School diploma required.
  • 1+ years of CNC machine operator experience.
  • Ability to monitor tool wear and make dimensional adjustments (offsets).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
