Assembler – Contract to Hire
Looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity with a focus on quality and craftsmanship? A leading company is seeking an Assembler in Salem, NH to support the production of advanced composite and textile-based products used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
Schedule of the Assembler:
Mon-Thurs 5a-3p or 6a-4p
Pay Rate of the Assembler:
$23-24/Hr
Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Assemble composite and textile-based products according to drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications
- Perform layout, cutting, bonding, sealing, and assembly operations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete production tasks
- Follow standard operating procedures, travelers, and quality requirements
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with customer and company standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Support production goals by assisting with additional manufacturing tasks as needed
- Help train new team members and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements of the Assembler:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and consistent attendance
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to production standards
