SMT Operator – Weekend Shift

An electronic component manufacturing is seeking an SMT Operator for a weekend shift in Westford, MA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a lean manufacturing environment where you will be part of a team that is dedicated to high-quality printed circuit board assembly processes.

Shift of the SMT Operator:
Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm (work 36 but paid 40 hours)

Pay Rate of the SMT Operator:
$24/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities of the SMT Operator:

  • Set-up and operate surface mount equipment.
  • Perform basic maintenance and assist maintenance technicians as needed.
  • Identify and report defective components.
  • Track work progress and communicate line status every hour.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area and inspect assembled PCBs for compliance.

Qualifications of the SMT Operator:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment operation preferred.
  • Knowledge of workmanship standards and component identification.
  • Experience with pick and place equipment; Universal Fuzion is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and good organizational abilities.
