HVAC Technician – 1st Shift

A manufacturer of environmental test chambers is looking to hire an HVAC Technician in Acton, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity for someone with a HVAC certification. 

Shift of the HVAC Technician: 
 7:00a – 3:30p M-F 

Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician:

  • Use tools and equipment that are common to the HVAC Industry
  • Responsible for working cross-departmentally within our Custom Team to build & install HVAC systems based on customer requirements, parts, blueprints and schematics.
  • Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe condition

Requirements of the HVAC Technician:

  • HVAC certification from a trade school, High School Diploma or GED, with 1+ year of experience in a similar field is required.
  • With limited supervision and quality work ethic, function as a member of a customer-driven team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements have been achieved.
  • Able to work in a shop environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible.
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to keep record of time spent on a work order.
