Recruiting Assistant – Norwell, MA

Leading provider of environmental and industrial services is looking to hire a Recruiting Assistant in Norwell, MA. As a Recruiting Assistant you will help build a centralized recruiting team focused on being the first point of contact for a variety of candidates sourced. This is a temp to hire position. 
 

Pay Rate of the Recruiting Assistant:
$20/hr
Onsite, then remote once fully trained

Responsibilities of the Recruiting Assistant:

  • Review and analyze resumes, contact candidates to perform phone screening
  • Work with ATS to assist in hiring process Assist with any assigned duties relating to the new hire process
  • Screen and submit qualified candidates to Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers
  • Help keep candidates engaged during the apply process and manage candidate inquires as needed
  • When needed, interact with and communicate candidate updates to Recruiting Team, Hiring Managers, Human Resources Team and other key partners
  • Provide “white glove” customer service and build relationships that ensure the recruiter and the candidate is happy
  • Participate in strategic sourcing activities and build networks across all channels utilizing all methodologies available when required
  • Enter and manage candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System in a timely manner, includes but not limited to scrubbing requisitions, candidate engagement, moving applicants through the process, filling & closing requisitions
  • Comply with all regulatory/legal requirements and company policies

Requirements of the Recruiting Assistant:

  • 0-3 of year's of HR or recruiting experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and able to multi-task.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple data screens.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to interact daily with external as well as internal customers.
  • Experience successfully identifying & resolving potential challenges and risk.
