Engineering Technician – Direct Hire

A well-known automation company in Norcross, GA is looking for an Engineering Technician. This is a direct hire position in a growing industry! 

Responsibilities of the Engineering Technician:

  • Assemble Prototype engines and value add assemblies. 
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues. 
  • Install and remove engines from test cells/dynamometers. 
  • Think critically, question results, and identify ways to improve the workshop engine design.  
  • Work alongside the Applications and Design Engineering teams on various projects. 
  • Support Applications Engineering with the creation of test reports.  
  • Follow standardized procedures related to engine/value add assembly and test cell operation. 
  • Parts ordering/transferring. 
  • Manage inventory of parts and supplies.  
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and organized work areas. 
  • Support Production Engineering with prototype builds performed at the Production Facility. 
Requirements of the Engineering Technician:
  • 5+ years of experience with assembly and/or maintenance of engines and building Prototypes
  • Experience using CAD software to view engine models/assemblies 
  • Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools
