Application Engineer – Direct Hire

Leading automation company in Norcross, GA is looking to hire an Application Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity! 

Pay Rate of the Application Engineer: 
$110k/yr 

Responsibilities of the Application Engineer:

  • Analysis of the customer requirements and development of customer specific system solutions.
  • Clarification of content, planning, alignment, adequate documentation, evaluation, and approval of customer projects including conducting the application installation reviews.
  • Development of V&V Plans, performing measurements related to V&V and monitoring validation at customer.
  • Assisting during improvements related to engineering laboratory, test bench, telemetry, and other measurement duties.
  • Work closely with design engineering to review project designs and ensure customer needs are met during the development process.
  • Review, align, and present possible new projects to business team to determine viability and status.
  • Help determine market needs and oversee new product introduction along with alignment with headquarters on new product platforms in development.
  • Frequent communication with sales to field requests to product changes or additions. 
Requirements of the Application Engineer:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience working with Applications or NPD with heavy outdoor equipment or heavy on-highway vehicles
  • Familiarity with Engine Diagnostic tools
  • Communication skills in writing and dialogue must be advanced
