CNC Operator – Direct Hire

Leading automation company in Franklin, MA is currently seeking for a CNC Operator. This is a direct hire opportunity! 

Pay Rate of the CNC Operator: 
$25-$28/hr DOE
 

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:

  • Machine Setup: Prepare the CNC machine for operation by loading the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials. Ensure that the machine is calibrated and programmed correctly
  • Programming: Input the necessary parameters into the CNC machine, including cutting speeds, tool paths, and dimensions, based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operation: Monitor the CNC machine during operation to ensure that it is producing parts within tolerances and quality standards. Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed to optimize production.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Identify and address any issues or defects in the machining process.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the CNC machine, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool usage, and quality inspection results.

Requirements of the CNC Operator:

  • Experience operating CNC machines, preferably Rittal Perforex machines, in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming languages, such as G-code.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solidworks modeling experience.
  • AutoCAD / HSM Works experience.
