Accounting Clerk – Direct Hire
A well-established company that offers marketing solutions for businesses is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk. This is a direct hire position in Hudson, MA. 

Salary of the Accounting Clerk: 
$70k/yr

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

  • Responsible for full cycle A/P from coding bills, entering in Great Plains, selecting items for payment and cutting checks or making payments online with the bank via ACH.
  • Generate timely and accurate customer invoices in coordination with internal client services team.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries for A/P and A/R.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Reviews accounts receivable aging and contacts customers to determine status of overdue and outstanding invoices and coordinate with management for timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and prepare relevant audit requests for internal and external auditors.
  • Assist with customer inquiries and research into accounts for erroneous postings or general customer discrepancies.
  • Process cash application from deposits.

Qualifications of the Accounting Clerk:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency with Great Plains or similar Microsoft Dynamics highly preferred.
  • Dynamic professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Batch processing
