Machinist – 2nd Shift

An electronic component manufacturing company is looking for a 2nd shift Machinist who will be producing complex machined components. This is a temp to hire opportunity in Manchester, NH.

Shift of the Machinist: 
M-Th: 2:45pm-12:00am F: 12:00pm-5:00pm

Pay Rate of the Machinist: 
$28/HR DOE

Responsibilities of the Machinist: 

  • Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and surface grinders
  • Inspecting completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, such as vernier calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, and drop dial indicators
  • Operate machine tools with conversational programmable CNC controls such as the Prototrak control

Requirements of the Machinist:

  • Must have attention to detail and strong personal initiative
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or two to five years related experience and/or education in Machining Technologies required
