Director of Operations – Direct Hire

Leading capital equipment manufacturing is looking for a Director of Operations in Billerica, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity! 

Salary Range of the Director of Operations:
$150 – $160K/yr

Responsibilities of the Director of Operations:

  • Responsible for the overall direction, management and results of departments and carries out responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws
  • Minimizes product costs while meeting customer value requirements
  • Directs LEAN efforts to minimize the cost of quality including scrap, rework, and field failures
  • Interfaces with customers, vendors, subcontractors and ensures the organization is in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Further develops and implements performance metrics to ensure on-time-delivery of production to customers
Qualifications of the Director of Operations:
  • Bachelor’s Degree; ME /IE; 10-15 years of related experience 
  • Prefer Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt & Continuous Improvement expertise
  • Effectively make presentations; respond and relate to issues, opportunities, and challenges customers
  • Ability to respond and relate to customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community
