Maintenance Supervisor – Direct Hire
A well-known food and beverage company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in Chaska, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity! 

Salary of the Maintenance Supervisor: 

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor: 

  • Supervise and provide technical knowledge in repair of breakdowns and troubleshooting.
  • Ensures responsive and proactive maintenance support to all plant customers. Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Validate repairs and preventative maintenance are done correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare technician schedule for 24/7 day operation line coverage and preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to document bakery needs for fiscal year, including cost value of equipment repair or replacement.
  • Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes. Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis).
  • Service and repair equipment on a continual basis. 
  • Other duties assigned. 

Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:

  • High School or GED
  • Community College technical degree plus 5 years shop floor experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical or chemical engineering
  • Previous Lean, Six Sigma, 5S experience
  • Food and/or beverage experience
  • SAP or equivalent systems experience
  • Maintenance/engineering expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, process and electrical functions of equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft office products
  • Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
  • Knowledge of Ammonia refrigeration systems
