Controls Engineer – Direct Hire

Leading automation company in Grove, IL is currently seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity! 

Salary of the Controls Engineer:
$125K/yr

Responsibilities of the Controls Engineer:

  • Familiarity and able to work with national and international standards like NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, UL 508A.
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Electrical.  Able to maintain libraries and parts databases.  Able to maintain symbol libraries.
  • Knowledgeable in EPLAN.  Able to maintain libraries and parts databases.  Able to maintain symbol libraries.
  • Identifies and redeploys intellectual property.
  • Able to read and navigate mechanical layouts in ACAD and SolidWorks.
  • Contributes to development of Safety Risk Assessments, applies Safety Functions that meet performance requirements, and able to verify with SYSTEMA.
  • Produce engineering drawings describing SCCR calculations.
  • Design and document feeder and branch circuits in accordance with UL.
  • Design of industrial networks that conforming to guidance set by their respective governing organization.
  • Other duties assigned.
