Machine Operator – 1st Shift

 A leading designer and manufacturer of high performance multicoax systems is looking to hire a Machine Operator. This is a temp to hire position in Hampton, NH. 

Shift of the Machine Operator: 
M-Th 10-hour shifts starting at 6:30 or 7am

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

  • Set up and operate machine shop tools including but not limited to, Surface Grinder experience preferred, Knee Mill experience preferred but not required, Band Saw, and other tools used in the machine shop and other areas of the plant.
  • Set up and operate machine tools in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Clean machine shop equipment, products, and work areas.
  • Perform light maintenance on equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Requirements of the Machine Operator:

  • Physical agility.
  • High level of hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to inspect and work under a scope is required.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings is preferred.
  • The ability to pay attention to detail is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate and work with others.
