Sr. Mechanical Technician-Direct Hire
A global leader in the turbomachinery design and development is currently hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician. This is a direct hire opportunity in White River Junction, VT!

Salary range depending on experience $24-$36

Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician:

  • Coordinate with other technical staff to complete hardware assembly activities and prototype testing.  

  • Fabricate and assemble development and production rigs and equipment. 

  • Independently calibrate and install instrumentation. 

  • Conduct routine acceptance and performance testing. 

  • Support engineering staff in commissioning new test facilities and conduct various testing activities as needed.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  

  • Education: The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering in technology degree, automotive technology degree or relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience in the industry. 

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar setting.  Knowledge of prototyping and hardware fabrication and assembly.  Experience with rotating equipment is a preferred.
