Electro-Mechanical Technician – 2nd Shift

 A well-known company dedicated to building structures is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. This is a direct hire position in Delano, MN. 

Shift of the Electro-Mechanical Technician:
 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay Rate of the Electro-Mechanical Technician:
$28/hr

Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Technician: 

  • Maintain existing equipment and PLC controlled systems.
  • Perform preventative and repair maintenance to production equipment. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components (electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical), PLC and HMI systems.
  • Interact with electrical control systems of various voltages (3 phase 480v, 120v, 24v AC and DC)
  • Ability to determine root cause of equipment failures, execute mechanical repairs, and establish/ document maintenance procedures.
  • Team member on various lean improvement projects.
  • Actively involved in Kaizen/Lean events, internal audits, action items and various engineering projects.

Qualifications of the Electro-Mechanical Technician:

  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and controls systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be knowledgeable in ladder logic and HMI programs.
  • Must be able to read and write technical documents and specifications.
  • Thorough understanding of lean principles
