EI&C Engineer – Temp to Hire

Are you an electrical engineer with experience in process instruments and controls design? Do you have experience in the petrochemical industry? If so, come work for a leading-edge female-owned engineering firm in Tanner, AL. This contract-to-hire opportunity is perfect for innovative electrical engineers.

Pay Rate of the EI&C Engineer:

Responsibilities of the EI&C Engineer:

  • Power Distribution Design for Medium and Low Voltage- 14.7kV; 4.16kV; 480vac; 120 vac
  • Motor elementary diagrams and designs- MV & LV
  • Single Line Diagrams- MV & LV
  • Selective coordination studies in SKM, ETAP or EASYPOWER in accordance with NFPA 70
  • Arc-flash analysis and incident energy calculations in accordance with NFPA 70E
  • Motor and starter sizing calculations and specifications- MV & LV
  • Distribution system design- transformers, switches, capacitor banks, etc.
  • Development of complex systems designs and creation of engineered documentation in support of construction goals
  • Other duties assigned


Qualifications of the EI&C Engineer:

  • BSEE and 5+ years in Industrial environment (Petrochem preferred)
  • EIT (FE) or PE Required
  • Experience working in multi-disciplined engineering environment
