Warehouse Associate – 1st shift
Leading building and constructions company is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate on 1st shift in Scarborough, ME. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity with a growing company in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
1st shift: 6am-3pm
Requirements of the Warehouse Associate:
- Picking and Packing shipments
- Preparing shipments for Trade Shows
- Packing Hazardous Materials for Transportation
- Receiving finished goods
- Misc. duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:
- Some Warehouse experience preferred
- High School graduate, GED or equivalent
- Ability to operate material handling equipment – Forklift, Stockpicker, Pallet Jack and Step Ladder
- Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction
- Familiar with warehouse safety procedures
- Good communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment, and to follow and exchange verbal and written instructions
- Administration skills including the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds assisted, 45 pounds unassisted
