Happy One Year Podcast Anniversary Beers & Careers
Today marks one year since we started our podcast. It’s been a fun journey and we’re looking forward to what year two brings for us. Looking back we talked to 16 guests and over 1000 people have listened to our podcast. It’s been great getting to know our guests, hearing about their nonlinear career journeys and what makes each guest and their journey unique and different.
Some of our favorites to look back on was our podcast with Ann Whitaker Head of People and Culture to talking to Chris Cardoza about some amazing sports icons he’s met. Our conversation with Greg Lazarus had the most listens and great comments. The podcast with Bob Davis included a lot of great tips on leadership and growing teams and your next inline leaders. Our conversation with Mark Dondero covered how his career went from being a radio host to now giving back and being a teacher in the classroom and how that journey happened for him. Talking to Michael Zildjian and learning how The Boston Marathon bombing had such a huge impact on his life and what he’s doing now with his Zilosophy on Golf. Dean Dorazio shared management tips and how he went from getting fired to starting his own company and the challenges he’s faced along the way. During #WFH we talked to Tim Therrien from Clean Harbors and learned about how his organization is critical during the pandemic and how they dispatch teams and the backgrounds that make a successful hire for that organization. And our first episode with Patty Flaherty Donahue, the ultimate networker, shared her thoughts on personal connections and helping others.
Check out some of the episodes, see if you can guess who’s favorite quote is “To give less then your best is to sacrifice your gift” and who played Lacrosse for the German National Team and who diapered their dog.
