Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Working in a dynamic build to order environment you will be responsible for leading a team in the development, execution and day to day management of commodity driven procurement.  Additional responsibility for cost containment, goal setting, inventory management and successful sourcing of new products/technologies.  Work to ensure material availability in a short lead time, mass customization business environment.   Ensure supply base is high performing.  


  • Manage material availability for products that meet the needs of the business while sustaining stocking levels that maximize business efficiency
  • Manager a supplier base of greater than 150 suppliers both internationally and domestic
  • Manage supplier selection by using data to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality including experience in a global sourcing environment
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future products
  • Sustain numerous metrics used to support the business such as Supplier Quality, Supplier on Time Delivery, Risk Management, Inventory Control, Cost controls, etc.               
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing on improving costing and manufacturability of procured materials
  • Manage a significant consigned inventory program
  • Serve as department lead during quality audits
  • International travel conducted twice a year and domestic travel as needed.


  • 10+ years of experience working in Supply Chain/Procurement Management, with at least 4 years working in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing a significant supplier spend.
  • Must have experience with a wide variety of commodities, specifically pcb’s, precious metals, various electrical components etc.
  • BS/MS in Management or related discipline
  • Experience working in an ISO certified environment
  • Industry certifications such as Apics is a plus
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Peoplesoft is preferred.
