Requirements

  • BA / BS degree
  • 4+ year of relevant work experience such as product or project management
  • Proven knowledge of agile software development
  • Strong knowledge of task management tools like JIRA, Clubhouse, PivotalTracker etc.
  • Experience working and communicating with crossfunctional teams (Designers, Engineers, Sales, QA, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture while still getting into the weeds
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to think one step ahead and can spot issues before they are real problems
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to take ownership

 

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with every team in the company to create a comprehensive timeline, project plan and task list that is updated daily to track progress
  • Attend all standup meetings and translate any updates into the project plan
  • Understand dependencies amongst all teams and flag issues as they come up
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Streamline processes and communication amongst teams to help maximize efficiency and remove bloat
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Report issues to senior management that would greatly impact the product or timeline
  • Optimize workload to manage changes in project scope and schedule
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Act as an important voice for decisions that get made regarding delivery and priority of tasks
