Description

Field Service Technician
We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician in the Norcross, GA area. The Field Service Technician will deliver hands-on support at customer sites in their territory. The Field Service Technician will contribute to the maintenance and repair on customers systems in the packaging industry.
 
Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician

  • Responsible for constant contact and idea exchange with our development departments to improve our systems continuously 
  • As an expert in high-tech-systems will be responsible for training our customers  
  • Responsible for the initial installation and commissioning of our systems as well as any maintenance or training requests
  • Must search and analyse complex problems to ensure the optimal operation and interface of system with customers production lines
  • Ensuring the coverage of service agreements with our customers 
  • Act as liaison for customers about satisfaction and quality and documenting the projects 

Requirements of the Field Service Technician

  • Solid education/equivalent experience in an electrical and mechanical field – min. 3 years. 
  • Ability to communicate and present, customer oriented, flexibility, independent work, ability to work in a team, reliable knowledge of Microsoft Office, very good communication skills 
  • Travel requirements: 75% (mostly in North America and occasionally overseas)
  • Experience with any bagging machines is a plus
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting PLC's and VFD's 
  • Experience in programming with Allen Bradley is a plus
