Description

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to coordinate, optimize and oversee our organization’s daily operations. This is a direct report position to the 2 owners of the business.

 

Office Manager duties include managing team members, improving performance of teams, and overseeing daily in-office operations. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service, warehouse operations and implement best practices across all levels. When shorthanded, you should be ready to roll up your sleeves to help the team succeed.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer service and order entry department
  • Manage employees.
  • Hire / train / fire.
  • Ensure daily coverage (fill in when shorthanded).
  • Maintain high level of customer service.
  • Assign daily leads: order assignments, task assignments using task management software.
  • Ensure equal task loading throughout day.
  • Report hours to payroll provider.

Manage in-office operations:

  • Daily opening 8AM / closing 5PM.
  • Interface with utility providers (cable, phone, electric, gas, security, cleaning, etc.)
  • Monitor office equipment (computers, printers, etc.).
  • Order office and break room supplies.
  • Ensure the office is a safe working environment that meets OSHA guidelines.

 

Requirements:

  • AS or BS Degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations Management or related field.
  • Proven work experience as an Office or Customer Service Manager or similar role.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outlook, video, e-mail and chat skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
