Overview:

We are looking for a high energy event planner with extensive experience in designing and managing the delivery of virtual programs.  If you are looking for a role where you can really make a difference, join the Global Sales Enablement team, and help us manage the delivery of training, coaching and critical materials to help our global sales team sell more through digital and virtual mechanisms.  We want to make our events engaging, impactful and fun as the sales team adjusts to working with their customers in a new virtual way.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for project managing all the logistics for our Salesforce.com Global rollout training, which now must be virtual
  • Be accountable for all resource scheduling/inviting (instructors, facilitators, executives, attendees)
  • Create the full bill-of-materials for any of our virtual training programs, maintaining versions of content, getting the content and recordings to the Curriulum & Programs team for packaging into more permanent programs
  • Create a virtual-live version of our “new hire tradeshow” for new sales people to meet people in all the departments that they interact with
  • Support the Program Manager for Sales Content & Communications, in organizing, packaging and posting materials for sales to use
  • Support the Manager for Curriculum & Programs, to ensure virtual product launches are well managed, supported, marketed and recorded, and live training sessions are properly managed with invitations, materials, attendance tracking, feedback forms

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree required, marketing or business degree desirable
  • 5 Years event planning experience
  • Must have experience managing complex, virtual events, including: webinars and virtual classroom sessions, prefer exposure to virtual tradeshow software
  • Exceptional attention to detail, (with references), particularly managing lists of names, keeping email addresses, roles, titles, and manager’s accurate, double checking work without prompting, with the cognitive ability to create teams or groups from a list, given a set of rules/attributes
  • Ability to create or support the creation of conference breakout plans, organizing topics into tracks
  • Ability to project managing track coordinators who are accountable for content design and development
  • Can Manage detailed levels of materials, with different documents, slides, handouts, and variations per time the session is run, for each breakout…ensuring the materials are produced to standards and checked for quality before publishing
  • Prefer experience as an event manager in a marketing events organization, or working at a corporate training center, or conference center
  • Experience with Event management software, content management software
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with international sales managers, administrative assistants or local marketing or event planners, to gather necessary details like attendee lists, local printer options, overseeing hotel details for live events we need to host in the international location
  • Extra value for someone who has experience as a webinar producer/host themselves, managing the technology, handle chats and Q&A
