Description

Top Life Science company in Milford is currently seeking an HR Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.  The HR Specialist will focus on supporting company colleagues in the field and will provide a broad range of HR and Talent Acquisition expertise and support.  This is a very visible role and will serve as a point of contact for hiring managers and support staffing coordination. Drug and Background check required. $24-$25/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Provides consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers related to the staffing, interviewing and hiring of teams
  • Supports managers by attending interviews with prospective candidates
  • Resolves complex HR issues conferring with managers on intricate and highly sensitive issues. May work with Legal Counsel directly as appropriate
  • Proper handling of new employee offer letters
  • Builds strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with all stakeholders
  • Develop and analyzes reports specific to the HR activities
  • May assist with employee relation issues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Operations, Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or related certifications preferred. 
  • 3-4 years’ experience in an HR, Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Coordination role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with SAP and iCIMS or other ATS system highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Ability to influence behaviors across team and inspire results
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures
  • Comfortable interacting with management at varying levels 
  • Attention to detail and customer focused
