Description

The DAVIS Companies is supporting a global leader in the medical device industry by identifying a Test Technician for their team. 

Responsibilities of Test Technician: 

  • Using a variety of test equipment and instruments, performs testing using standard and new developed test methods. Analyzes and compiles results. 
  • Provides technical expertise and testing support, including making sure laboratory resources are available for the testing requested by the product groups.  Provides assistance to others as needed.

  • Updates and maintains documentation regarding test procedures and methods.  Compiles and documents results.  Writes technical reports and communicates testing status verbally and in writing.

  • Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality

  • Creates new test methods to characterize new and existing products.  Identifies methods that accurately represent the field usage and characterize the performance of products and technologies.  Documents new methods

  • Maintains laboratory equipment as needed, including calibration, routine maintenance, and repair.
