E&I Technician (Level -3 or Level -4)

 

 

 

Primary Purpose

Plant E&I technicians are hired as members of the maintenance team within high performance work teams. Technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, meeting performance goals and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products.

Job Description

E&I Technicians provide electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills in the set-up, repair and operation of production equipment and related systems. Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed making, packing and other production related equipment using basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, drills, Ohm meters, voltage testers, laptop computers, etc. Technicians are expected to get involved, take charge of situations and confront business-related problems.

 

Qualifications:

•18+ years of age
•High School Diploma or GED
•5+ years industrial repair and maintenance of electro-pneumatic mechanical machines and systems; beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
•5+ years of experience troubleshooting circuits and strong knowledge of PLC based system (Allen Bradley)
•Control circuit systems
•Servo drive system
•Must be self-motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and possess the ability to work with little supervision.
•Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing and TPM principles preferred.
•Proficient computer skills
•Demonstrated Leadership Skills
•Proven Safety Record
•Ability to work all shifts
•Ability to work overtime as required.
•Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment.
•Must have own tools.
•Good manual dexterity and motor coordination, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and reach as well as wear all required PPE and protective clothing and accessories.
