Searching for an IT Project Manager on a long term contract basis.


The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving business results by managing projects including employee software and hardware implementations; infrastructure, integration or functionality improvements to complex enterprise systems; and cybersecurity enhancements. The IT Project Manager will oversee large, cross functional projects using standard methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. The successful candidate will have proven experience in IT project management and excellent skills in project planning, scheduling, implementation, vendor management, and budget control with a strong emphasis on customer service.

This is a collaborative role, where the Infrastructure Project Manager will be required to interface and engage with internal partners, technical and functional groups including Informatics, Security, Operations, Systems, Network, and Infrastructure from project inception to closure. The Project Manager will be required to oversee, motivate and guide the team and deliverables of these internal functional teams and that of 3rd party vendors to generate positive business outcomes.

This is a hands-on role managing the entire project lifecycle, carefully monitoring and controlling through each of the project phases.                                                                                                            


  • Accountable for accomplishing the project objectives, responsible for the successful outcome of the project, managing to schedule, on budget, and scope expectations

  • Assemble the project team resources including commitment on schedule, effort & involvement

  • Establish the necessary communication plan, team[s] meetings, between all project teams, chairs the project meetings

  • Outline the roles / responsibilities of different parties including customers, management, project team, vendors, and other stakeholders

  • Ensure all PMO artifacts are current

  • Communicate and provide transparency on project status, deliverables, dates and issues for a range of internal and external teams

  • Thoroughly document meetings including action items, expected and communicated delivery dates, and open items needing further work or follow-up

  • Monitor and manage project financial budget to actual, scope, and schedule to ensure project stays on track

  • Accountable for risk & issue management, resolution, escalation, and action reviews, facilitate decision-making discussions and alternative recommendations

  • Prepare and present periodic projects’ status reports to senior and executive leadership. Raise issues that will/may impact the success of the project


  • Minimum of 5 years IT project management experience, managing technology projects across infrastructure, operations and business systems

  • Technology literate and able to adopt new technologies quickly

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLC, including hands on experience with waterfall and agile

  • Project Management Tools proficiency; including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Strong analytical, leadership, problem solving, organization and planning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills including comfort working with executive leadership and high-profile customers

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; effectively prioritizing and managing shifting priorities and assignments

  • Strong experience with multi-vendor relationships and 3rd party management

  • Experience with on-premise, cloud and SaaS application implementations

  • Mastery of waterfall and experience with agile methodologies Experience managing budgets

  • Experience with MS Project, Confluence, Smartsheet and Jira an advantage

  • Experience with Enterprise Manufacturing Applications and Integration an advantage

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent, or equivalent years of demonstrated professional experience in a relevant field
