About the role:

The eCommerce Analyst is responsible for the definition, design, and development of data to support website functionality that maximizes revenue, improves customer experience, and enhances brand value. This role will work collaboratively within the eCommerce Product Management department and with Category Management and IT to gather business requirements and understand goals and objectives for development projects; document data requirements, business rules, and data audit procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day data needs to support the website (images, attributes, related products, descriptions, and taxonomy)
  • Analyze site data structure, proactively identify gaps in product data, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Formalize and manage the intake process for new products and change requests
  • Respond to both internal and external requests for product related data and assist with the prioritization effort
  • Coordinate projects related to data enrichment, data cleansing and process improvement by defining and managing project scope, deliverables, resources required, and timelines
  • Build strong relationships with Vendors, Marketing, Product Management, SEO and Operations
  • Partner with Product Management to create business rules for internal search engine
  • Provide Ad hoc analysis in support of the Web Transformation teams

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience required; 5- 7 years’ work experience preferred
  • Previous experience with product attribute data a plus
  • Knowledge or and ability to perform data gathering, analysis and process flow design
  • Previous experience with data mapping and data validation
  • Immediate to advanced skills in Excel required, proficiency with SQL preferred
  • Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
